Main Halyard The top of the sail often fits improperly allowing the trailing edge of the sail (leech) to be loose. at the top. An easy solution is to tie the halyard around the mast to the hole in the front of the mast crane. This will hold the head of the sail both up and forward eliminating the leech tension problem.
