Presentations

We are RC Sailing "Hams at Heart". There is nothing we would rather do than stand in front of a group and tell you what we are doing and encourage you to join us. And we love the "hard" questions too. In addition to talk, we are there to play as well. We carry a fleet of demo boats, ready for your personal hands-on "see trials".

Since we only have one "horse and pony" show, we are forced to schedule areas with date blocks. We have posted our current schedule below. If you are in one of our presentation zones, it is easy to ask us to do a presentation for your group. There is no cost or obligation. We will provide press releases, pictures, posters, etc., at your request.

Our normal presentation is about 4 hours long, give or take. Two hours in a meeting room where we outline our program, and show you the unique features of the RC Laser. The remaining two hours , is a sailing demonstration where everyone gets a good chance to see how the RC Laser performs. The timing is not cast in stone, just a general guideline. At most locations we have a break between the meeting room and the sailing demo so we can get set up. This may be good for lunch or cocktails, etc. We normally schedule a full 24 hour time period at your location so we can evaluate your location, and meet with potential "Go To Guys&qot;.

Launch Dock

For the meeting room, we need electricity, and a 6' long table with table cloth and chairs for our guests. For a sailing venue, we need a place to launch the boats from a floating dock or shore line, and we need a small open body of water, a little wind, and a skiff/canoe, etc., to set marks and perform any rescues that may be needed. A place for observers is always important. We have done demonstrations in swimming pools, but we would prefer a little bit larger body of water.

If we cannot manage to schedule a "live" presentation, we are still pretty animated on the phone. A conference call from potential fleet members works great. We also can supply written information on specifics you may request.
